Access Advocates is an organization committed to the purpose of making buildings more accessible to people with disabilities. With the law on our side, thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act, we fight on your behalf to make sure you have the same rights as everyone else when it comes to accessing public buildings such as restaurants, shopping centers, hospitals/medical centers and so much more. If you’ve encountered this kind of discrimination, we’d like to take some time to talk to you about how we can help.
How do I know if I’m a victim of this kind of discrimination?
Are you a person with disabilities? Have you ever found yourself in a position where a building you needed to enter was not readily accessible for you? If you answered yes to these questions then you’ve come to the right place. Thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act, your rights as a US citizen are protected and you deserve the same access to the same buildings as everyone else. That’s where we come in.
How does it work?
We are here to advocate for your right to access any public building. So how does this work? If you’ve come across discrimination then the first thing you need to do is contact us. Once we have the information we need we will audit the building in question.
After the audit is done we will work with the building owner and one of our architects to come up with a plan to bring the building up to standards. We will work with a contractor and the court system to fix things. You won’t have to worry about getting involved with the process and it won’t cost you anything.
