The American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) is Civil Rights Law which means you have “standing” in Federal Court. ACCESS does not have “standing,” only a person with a recognized ADA disability has “standing” in Federal Court. So, without you as a part of the team, the ACCESS program of getting buildings ADA compliant, one building at a time, will not work. The Federal Courts are free if you have “standing” — free filing fee, free attorney fee and free attorney costs. The professional work product of ACCESS is an attorney cost, therefore, it is free to you!
