Relive the old memories and celebrate it with a keychain pocket watch

Whenever we speak aboutreliving our old memories we tend to remember the good old days when we used tohave classic designer motor cars, keychainpocket watch and the long lasting gramophone player in the household.
I used to have one classic keychain pocketwatch which I lost one day when I was playing with my grandchild in the field, but there are many choices like Tag Heuer Carrer, Tag Heuer Formula 1, Tag Heuer Aquaracer , Tag Heuer Grand Carrera, Tag Heuer Link, Tag Heuer Monaco.I tried to search for it everywhere but my search was in vain. Then I told myson about it and the reply that I got from him actually made me mad. It was a keychainpocket watch gifted by my wife who is no more, during our first anniversary. My son said that there is no need to havean old watch like this anymore as he was buying me the latest branded wristwatch from the market. I could not say anything but I asked myself the questionthat will they abandon me the same way if I become very old someday and is ofno use to them. Years passed on like this and I kept silently weeping that Iwas unable to protect the beautiful keychain pocket watch which was the lastmemory of my wife’s love. Last month was my birthday. Since I am already in my late 70s, I amready to meet God any day he answers my call. Therefore I was no too excited about my birthday as others in the family were.

My grandson is 24 years by now.That day when they arranged a party to celebrate, I quietly came down and startedaccepting everyone’s gift and greetings. That day I was missing my wife themost. Then my family members started presenting their gifts for me. My son had given me a new mobile withlifetime validity. I heartily laughed on my own imagining a lifetime connectionfor a 78 years old man. Then I was about to open my grandson’s gift and thus Imade myself ready for another weird surprise gift awaiting for me inside thegift wrapped packet. To my most wonderful experience in decades I saw abeautiful keychain pocket watchinside which was just the replica of the original one I had years ago. I couldnot stop the tears rolling down my eyes. My grandson gave me a hug and I becamemore emotional. That day I felt that I had everything I could ever dream about.It was as if God was waiting for the right time to give me the right gift Ineeded the most. I could not sleep that night and kept looking at that preciouskeychain pocket watch.
